TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEPOSITS are non-refundable.

PRICES include VAT and where quoted are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Delivery is not included unless otherwise stated.

PAYMENT goods are to be paid for in full prior to dispatch. It is recommended to avoid any delays in cheque clearance times all payments are received at least 7 working days prior to dispatch.

GOODS remain property of Spa World UK until paid for in full.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS Any payments made by credit/debit card over the value of £200.00 will be subject to a charge not exceeding 3.5% of the value of the transaction.

SPECIAL OFFERS Where an order has been placed for a specific item and at a later date that particular item is reduced and offered at a lower price, the customer cannot attempt to reclaim any such difference.

DELIVERIES goods are dispatched via selected carriers to avoid losses and damage during transit. A specific day is usually arranged but exact times cannot be guaranteed. In extreme circumstances, a carrier may not be able to deliver the goods on the specified date, where this is the case, they will deliver at the earliest opportunity. Spa World UK cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by uncontrollable circumstances.

THE CUSTOMER is responsible for checking that all items ordered have been received, any discrepancies must be recorded and Spa World UK notified ASAP. It is strongly advised that all items are checked before commencement of installation.

INSTALLATIONS the price quoted does not include;

Any electrical installation - All work must be carried out by a qualified electrician. 

Any ground work – It is the customers sole responsibilityto provide a suitable site for installation. If we cannot carry out the installation on the due date and have to return another day, an extra charge will be made.

Building materials – Any such materials are provided by the customer. Spa World UK may on request arrange such items for supply and delivery.

Any travelling rates and expenses incurred by installation teams unless otherwise agreed.

PLANS AND DRAWINGS – remain the property of Spa World UK and are for use solely between the two parties unless otherwise agreed in writing.

DRAINS AND DRAINAGE If during the completion of a project undertaken by Spa World UK, drains are discovered that were not apparent at the time of the survey, it is the customers sole responsibility to seek advice and cover any costs incurred for the removal of those drains. Spa World UK are not responsible, nor do we have the ability to complete such a task.

CRANES In the event of a crane being required, it is the customers sole responsibility to ensure that the crane company provided has adequate insurance for that lift. Spa World UK accepts no responsibility or liability associated with a crane lift. If any item that is lifted by the crane company is damaged during the lift, Spa World UK cannot be held responsible for that damage or any costs involved in reparing such damage should it occur.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY During the supply and installation of any products supplied by Spa World UK, we will undertake to minimise the amount of damage to surrounding areas and property. It is the customers sole responsibility to have adequate insurance to cover any such damage should it occur.

INJURY During Installation, you may be required to provide additional manpower to help with manouvering the spa. It is the customers sole responsibility to ensure that the additional manpower used is in such a fit and healthy state in order to meet the requirements.

TAILOR MADE REQUIREMENTS Where an item has been ordered specifically for your requirements, a deposit of 50% of the value of that item will be required before the order can be processed. If at any time the customer needs to cancel the order and work has already commenced on the manufacture of the ordered item, then payment will be required in full to the value of the cost of the item less any labour charges. This is non-negotiable.

PORTABLE SPA DELIVERY All spas are delivered and commisioned in accordance with the manufacturer’s standard commissioning guide.

QUOTATIONS are based upon information supplied at the time, if during commencement of installation, work other than that included in the quotation needs to be carried out in order to make installation complete, there will be a charge to the customer.

PLANNING PERMISSION Spas generally do not need planning permission in the UK. Spa World UK supplies all products on the understanding that it is the customers responsibility to check and obtain any necessary permission for any product supplied by Spa World UK.

GUARANTEES All products are supported by a manufacturers warranty, this does not include carriage charges.

DELAYS Spa World UK cannot accept responsibility for any shipment delays. Any dates are given to us as a guide by our suppliers, we always allow sufficient time between a shipment arrival into the UK and installation to the customer to allow for any delays. If the shipment is delayed further than this, a new installation date will need to be arranged with the customer. Spa World UK will not be liable for any costs incurred due to the customer needing to re-arrange the delivery date with any other parties concerned. In the event of a shipment delay Spa World UK cannot be held responsible and no refund of deposits will be given if the order from the customer is cancelled.

FAULTY/DAMAGED GOODS Spa World UK is a dealership and relys on suppliers to provide goods. Spa World UK cannot be held responsible for faulty or damaged goods which are shipped directly from our supplier to the customer without Spa World UK seeing or handling the product. We will endeavour to do our best to arrange either a repair to the product or a replacement of the product as soon as possible. Please inspect your goods immediately upon delivery. If goods delivered are missing, damaged, faulty or incorrect you must inform us as soon as possible and within 7 days from the date of delivery.
